Our therapeutic approach draws from various modalities, including narrative, relational, and mindfulness-based therapies.
You are the expert on your own life, and we are here to provide a safe and non-judgmental space through our therapy sessions for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Individual therapy provides a supportive space to explore everyday stressors that may be affecting your emotional well-being, relationships, work life, or overall sense of balance. Sessions focus on identifying patterns, understanding the sources of stress, and developing healthier ways to cope with life’s demands. The goal is to help you gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and feel more equipped to manage challenges as they arise.
Therapy for depression focuses on understanding the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that may contribute to feelings of sadness, low motivation, hopelessness, or loss of interest in daily activities. Through supportive conversations and practical tools, therapy can help you process difficult emotions, improve mood stability, and gradually reconnect with activities, relationships, and goals that bring meaning to your life.
Anxiety therapy helps individuals understand and manage persistent worry, racing thoughts, tension, or feelings of being overwhelmed. Sessions focus on identifying triggers, learning strategies to regulate stress responses, and building skills that help reduce excessive worry and improve emotional balance. The goal is to help you feel more calm, focused, and confident in navigating daily situations.
Stress management therapy focuses on helping individuals better understand the sources of stress in their lives and develop practical tools to respond more effectively. Sessions may explore work stress, family responsibilities, life transitions, or ongoing pressures that affect emotional and physical well-being. Therapy helps individuals build healthier coping strategies, improve boundaries, and restore a greater sense of balance.
Therapy focused on self-esteem and confidence helps individuals explore how past experiences, beliefs, and self-perceptions may influence how they view themselves. Sessions work toward strengthening self-awareness, challenging negative self-talk, and building a more balanced and compassionate view of oneself. The goal is to help you develop greater confidence in your abilities, decisions, and personal worth.
Whether you’re struggling with constant conflict, feeling unheard, navigating life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected, therapy can help you identify patterns that keep you stuck and develop healthier ways of relating. Together, we focus on improving communication, reducing recurring arguments, rebuilding emotional closeness, strengthening trust and teamwork, and clarifying expectations and roles. Couples therapy is not about choosing sides — it’s about helping both partners feel understood while creating a more secure and stable foundation for the relationship.
Therapy after betrayal focuses on stabilization first. We work to reduce reactivity, create clarity, and determine what both partners need moving forward. This process includes understanding what happened and why, supporting the betrayed partner’s healing, encouraging accountability from the betraying partner, rebuilding trust through structured steps, clarifying boundaries and expectations, and deciding whether and how to move forward. Betrayal recovery is not about minimizing harm; it is about addressing it directly, responsibly, and with intention — whether the goal is repair or clarity.
Intimacy therapy provides a respectful and structured space to explore what may be affecting your closeness. This work is never rushed or pressured. Instead, we focus on understanding the emotional and psychological barriers that may be interfering with connection, including loss of sexual connection, differences in desire, emotional disconnection, performance concerns, anxiety or avoidance around intimacy, and rebuilding comfort and physical closeness. The goal is not just physical contact, but restoring connection, safety, and shared desire within the relationship.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may be used to pay for eligible therapy services. These accounts allow you to use pre-tax dollars for qualified healthcare expenses.
This can be a helpful option for individuals who do not have insurance, have a high deductible, or prefer not to use insurance benefits. When insurance is used, a mental health diagnosis is typically required for reimbursement. Some clients prefer private payment options (including HSA/FSA) for added privacy. This is a personal decision, and we support whichever option fits your needs.
For relationships and couples, HSA/FSA can also provide flexibility because many insurance plans do not cover couples therapy unless one partner is identified as the “patient” and given a diagnosis. HSA/FSA allows couples to focus on relationship support without assigning a diagnosis solely for billing purposes.
Note: Coverage rules vary. Please check with your HSA/FSA administrator for eligible expense details.
We accept many major insurance plans. If you plan to use insurance, benefits and coverage (including copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements) depend on your specific plan.
Please contact your insurance provider to confirm: mental health outpatient benefits, copay/coinsurance, deductible status, and any pre-authorization requirements.
EAP services may be available through your employer at little to no cost to you for a limited number of sessions. EAP benefits vary by company, so please check with your employer or HR department to confirm your EAP provider and how to obtain an authorization.
If you’re unsure whether your company has an EAP provider, please check with your employer or plan administrator.
Cash rate (private pay) is a simple option when you prefer not to use insurance or when your plan does not cover the service you’re seeking. Private pay may also be used alongside HSA/FSA funds if eligible.

No. Sharion does not accept commercial insurance for relationship therapy — no exceptions.
Most commercial insurance plans are designed to reimburse treatment tied to an individual mental health diagnosis, not relationship-focused work.
Most insurance companies require a diagnosable mental health condition and medical necessity in order to reimburse therapy services. Relationship concerns alone often do not qualify for reimbursement under many plans.
Examples of common relationship concerns that are often not covered include: communication problems, conflict resolution, relationship disconnection, infidelity recovery, rebuilding trust, and improving intimacy as a couple.
These issues are real and important—insurance simply is not structured to cover “relationship work” as a standalone service.

Support Beyond Therapy Sessions
For couples who want additional support between sessions, EyeAm9 offers relationship-focused educational resources designed to help couples continue working on their relationship outside of the therapy room. These tools provide guided insight into common relationship challenges such as communication, conflict, trust rebuilding, and emotional connection.
EyeAm9 resources are designed to help couples reflect, learn, and apply new perspectives at their own pace. Many couples find that continuing this type of learning between sessions helps reinforce the progress they are making in therapy.
These resources are educational in nature and are meant to complement the work being done in therapy, giving couples additional tools to continue strengthening their relationship.
